Transparency & Trust
I believe you deserve to know exactly who you're learning from. Here's my journey, my training, and what qualifies me to do this work.
My journey began with my own struggles—PCOS, iron deficiency, chronic fatigue, and brain fog. After years of "your labs are normal" and "just lose weight," I knew there had to be another way.
I immersed myself in alternative medicine studies, including naturopathy, herbalism, and holistic nutrition. This foundation gave me the framework to understand how traditional healing systems work.
This was the transformative period. I traveled to India specifically to train with Ayurvedic doctors who specialize in women's health (Stri Roga).
Note: My training was clinical and observational, working alongside licensed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) doctors. I do not hold a BAMS degree myself, nor do I claim to be a licensed Ayurvedic physician.
Founded AYURFEM to bridge the gap between traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and modern scientific validation. My focus shifted from individual practice to education, research, and building evidence-based protocols.
Transparency builds trust. Here's exactly what you should know:
AYURFEM is fundamentally an educational and research platform. I don't treat patients—I educate, research, and share knowledge.
My role is to:
I believe the best healthcare comes from an informed patient working with a qualified team. My job is to help you be more informed—not to replace your doctors.
I'm committed to lifelong learning and staying current with research.
Regularly reviewing PubMed, peer-reviewed journals, and clinical trials related to Ayurvedic medicine and women's health.
Attending conferences, workshops, and courses in integrative medicine, Ayurveda, and women's health research.
Working with BAMS doctors, researchers, and institutions to ensure accuracy and scientific rigor.
Learning from the women I work with—their experiences inform and improve my educational content.
I'm an open book. If you have questions about my training, qualifications, or approach that aren't answered here, I'm happy to discuss them.
