Saranda's Story
From Kerala to Barcelona
Saranda Ferizi trained in Kerala, immersed in the ancient traditions of Ayurvedic medicine for women. Specializing in the maternal journey, she spent over 10 years developing her practice at the intersection of traditional wisdom and modern care.
Building her practice in Barcelona, she witnessed firsthand the gap: pregnant and postpartum women in Europe — especially those navigating life in Spanish or French — had almost no access to the holistic maternal care that other cultures have offered for millennia.
She built AYURFEM to fill that gap. Today, AYURFEM is a team of qualified therapists and an Ayurvedic doctor, delivering personalized in-home care across Barcelona and Switzerland.
