Why the "just lose weight" advice fails—and what actually works according to both Ayurveda and modern research.

Science-validated Ayurvedic wisdom for women who want to understand ALL their options—traditional and modern, working together.
"Just lose weight and it will fix itself"
"Your labs are normal, there's nothing wrong"
"That's just part of being a woman"
"Here's a prescription. Next patient."
If you've felt dismissed, unheard, or not fully understood in your healthcare journey—you're not alone. 29% of women report feeling dismissed by their doctors.[3] You deserve answers that honor both ancient wisdom and modern science—working together.
My Story
I know what it's like to feel lost in your own body. PCOS, iron deficiency, brain fog—I've lived it. I've sat in those doctor's offices, heard those dismissive words, and searched for answers everywhere.
That search became my mission. I spent 10 years studying alternative medicine, then traveled to India for 18 months to train with specialized Ayurvedic women's doctors. I learned ancient protocols. I saw how traditional practices could complement modern care.
Now I translate complex research into understandable information. I don't treat patients—I help women understand their options so they can have better conversations with their healthcare teams. My role is educator and researcher, not practitioner.

We're bridging the gap between ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern clinical validation. Our research focuses on creating evidence chains that connect traditional practices to measurable outcomes.
Investigating Shatavari and Ashwagandha protocols for hot flashes, night sweats, and hormonal balance. One 2024 clinical trial reported 85% symptom reduction in their participant group.[1]
Developing comprehensive protocols combining Ayurvedic herbs (Cinnamon, Shatavari, Kanchanar) with lifestyle interventions. Documenting quality of life improvements and cycle regularization.
Documenting the traditional 42-day postpartum recovery protocol. Studying Abhyanga, specialized diet (Yavagu), and Vata-pacifying practices for modern validation.
Exploring Ashwagandha and Shatavari for folliculogenesis and ovulation support. Comparing outcomes with conventional treatments like Clomiphene citrate.
Investigating connections between Ayurvedic constitution types (Prakriti) and genomic markers. Exploring personalized medicine through the lens of 5,000 years of traditional knowledge.
Investigating the therapeutic potential of royal jelly and bee products for hormonal health, fertility support, and menopausal symptoms.
We're seeking researchers, practitioners, and institutions interested in building evidence-based integrative women's health protocols. Together, we can bridge ancient wisdom and modern science.

Clear Boundaries
Transparency builds trust. Here's what AYURFEM is NOT:
I don't diagnose medical conditions or provide treatment plans. That's your doctor's role.
I will never suggest you stop or change medications. Always consult your prescribing physician.
I don't sell products or earn commissions from supplement recommendations. My income comes from education, not sales.
I share research findings, not guarantees. Your results depend on many factors including working with qualified healthcare providers.
I'm an educator and researcher, not your doctor. I help you ask better questions—your medical team provides answers.
I acknowledge what we know, what we're learning, and what remains uncertain. Intellectual honesty matters.
